Hiring Range: $134,929.60 to $184,412.80
Pay Range: $134,929.60 to $209,164.80

Job Responsibilities

The Southcentral Foundation (SCF) Senior Physician Assistant-Certified (PA-C) Primary Care Provider (PCP) is responsible for providing direct clinical customer-owner care, mentoring nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and certified nurse midwives, and establishing medical protocols and treatment regimens with clinical staff. Additionally, the Senior PA-C PCP mentors and coaches staff within the Nuka System of Care.

Qualifications

SCF programs serve a primary population of Alaska Native people affiliated with Cook Inlet Region, Inc. (CIRI), and Alaska Native and American Indian people within SCF’s service area. Candidates should have a thorough understanding of these cultures and needs to contribute to SCF’s vision of wellness and its mission of collaborative health services:

• Licensed as a Physician Assistant-Certified (PA-C) in Alaska with an active Collaborative Agreement.
• Current NCCPA certification.
• Proven proficiency as a Physician Assistant at SCF or two years of supervisory/management experience.
• Eligibility for associate medical staff membership and privileges.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required; additional certifications (ACLS, NRP, ATLS, PALS, etc.) as per specialty requirements.

Employee Health Requirements

Employment is contingent upon compliance with SCF’s Employee Health procedures, including immunizations for MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B, Influenza, T-dap, COVID-19, and other relevant certifications prior to starting employment.

Native Preference Policy
