Senior PM, Expansion & Integration, Product Operations

The Product Operations group is looking for an individual who wants to work on a business that is growing at a rapid pace. We are a critical part of the hardware development, product launch, and supply chain process. We ensure successful fulfillment for product launches and ongoing support, grow the capabilities of our current systems and supply chain to meet our needs, and drive continuous improvement for the company.

As a Senior PM, Expansion and Integration for Kuiper Customer Terminals, you are the focal representation of everything Operations and Supply Chain related. You will orchestrate plans and drive solutions for Kuiper business teams in productization. You will wear many hats in this role which range from deep diving the product to managing multiple schedules.

To be successful in this role, you must be able to work across disciplines, organizations, and geographies, translating complex technical and operational concepts for varied audiences. You must think big, move fast, and pivot frequently in a dynamic environment. Prior experience in logistics and expansion is a plus, but hands-on experience in operations is a must.

Key job responsibilities

  1. Manage complex operational projects from start to finish and be accountable for key metrics and overall results;
  2. Own Project Governance from start to finish, using effective methodology, tools, and communication skills;
  3. Analyze long-term planning data to identify density opportunities in support of leadership; model this data to assist in mounting a strategic expansion plan;
  4. Write business cases in support of new initiatives using data from multiple stakeholders;
  5. Identify opportunities for defect reduction, increased efficiency, cost reduction, and growth;
  6. Perform problem solving evaluating alternatives, and identifying solutions using innovative, frugal methods.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  1. 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
  2. Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  3. Experience with end to end product delivery
  4. Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
  5. Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights
  6. Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders
  7. Experience owning technology products
  8. Experience or understanding of product development process in Consumer Electronics

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Experience in multi-territory campaign management
  2. Experience leading process improvements
  3. Proven track record of complex and creative problem solving and the desire to create new processes or simplify and improve on current ones
  4. Proven ability to influence others, facilitate agreement among stakeholders with different interests
  5. Keen eye for details, intuitive, ability to look around the corner and thrive in ambiguous situations

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $124,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $206,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
