This role is a Senior Procurement Engineer responsible for developing strategic supply networks and managing costs for product hardware throughout its lifecycle.
They will collaborate with suppliers and cross-functional teams to select suppliers, accelerate product development through joint design and simulation, and optimize manufacturing BOMs and supply chain lead times.
Key tasks include conducting risk assessments, qualifying components, reducing complexity, and leading cost engineering activities to minimize total cost of ownership.
Qualifications include a bachelor's degree in engineering, 5+ years of sourcing or design experience, and the ability to travel and relocate to Costa Mesa, CA. Preferred qualifications include advanced degrees, electronics or mechanical design expertise, and experience in high-tech, fast-paced environments.
Salary ranges from $146,000 to $194,000 with competitive benefits.
