Senior Product Manager, Fleet Technology Products (FTP)

Amazon is looking for a Sr. Product Manager to lead product management efforts supporting our last mile fleet, focusing on vehicle telematics, asset management and vehicle health. This leader will have responsibility for a strategic effort that cuts across categories and teams within Amazon. In this role, the ideal candidate will have a history of successfully launching impactful automotive consumer features and products, specifically focusing on telematics. We're looking for an individual who is highly analytical, can collaborate effectively across teams, and excels in entrepreneurial, fast-paced work environments.

Key Job Responsibilities

  1. Deploy fleet-based technologies across the North America fleet
  2. Familiarity with automotive telematics and connected vehicle technology
  3. Own vendor relationship(s) with fleet technology partners
  4. Manage internal and external business reviews
  5. Solve complex, technical problems with simple, innovative, and practical solutions
  6. Monitor key quality metrics, define and implement initiatives to drive product and process improvements
  7. Work within time constraints and deliver results to meet critical business needs
  8. Collect feedback from product users to build next generation safety tools
  9. Must be able to travel to occasional team offsites and to visit delivery stations as needed (~10-15% per quarter)

A Day in the Life

As a Senior Product Manager, you will be responsible for leading the requirements for the next generation of fleet tech features and products. This role is inherently cross-functional. This role involves close collaboration with engineering, business development, and other leaders to bring products to market and identify growth opportunities for Amazon and automotive partners.

About the Team

We are a tightly-knit product team dedicated to designing and maintaining telematics and fleet technology-based products with a massive customer impact. Leveraging data and customer feedback, we solve complex problems, working across multiple partner teams with functions ranging from tech development to communications. Our vision is to build the world's safest transportation network.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  1. 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
  2. Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  3. Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
  4. Experience with end to end product delivery
  5. Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
  6. Experience as a product manager or owner
  7. Experience owning technology products

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights
  2. Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders
  3. Familiarity with automotive telematics, connected tech
  4. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all organizational levels
  5. Excellent product management skills and the ability to lead cross-functional teams demonstrating experience in owning/driving roadmap strategy with end-to-end product delivery
  6. Proficiency with data analytics

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $124,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $206,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
