Amazon Inbound Transportation, part of Global Logistics, is seeking a Senior Product Manager to oversee the cost structure of our managed transportation program. This role offers a unique opportunity to steer the financial performance of one of Amazon's flagship programs, playing a pivotal role in its ambitious growth trajectory. You will diagnose the program's cost structure, drive optimization initiatives, and prioritize them for implementation, collaborating closely with our in-house tech department to develop and scale innovative solutions.

- Oversee and optimize the cost structure of the managed transportation program
- Develop and execute a strategic product roadmap to support program growth
- Analyze data to develop business cases, prioritize features, and gauge product launch impacts
- Collaborate with the tech team to implement cost optimization solutions
- Drive cross-functional collaboration to ensure seamless integration of initiatives
- Envision and deliver innovative solutions that optimize costs while maintaining customer experience
- Navigate ambiguity and competing priorities in an entrepreneurial environment
A day in the life
As a Senior Product Manager, you'll start your day reviewing key performance metrics of the managed transportation program. You might then lead a cross-functional meeting to discuss cost optimization initiatives, followed by collaborating with the tech team to prioritize feature development. In the afternoon, you could be analyzing data to develop a business case for a new cost-saving initiative, or presenting your findings to senior leadership. Your day might end with refining the product roadmap based on the latest insights and feedback.

Our logistics network plays a pivotal role in Amazon's success, setting the standard in the eCommerce industry. We're a dynamic, innovative team focused on optimizing our managed transportation program to benefit sellers with competitive rates, seamless experiences, and expedited inbound speed. Minimum Requirements
- 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with end to end product delivery
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience as a product manager or owner
- Experience owning technology products
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree or equivalent
- Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights
- Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $124,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $206,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
