Summary: Responsible for serving food and beverages in the main and private dining rooms while handling currency transactions.
- Greet and serve customers professionally and promptly.
- Complete opening and closing side work to prepare dining and service areas.
- Prepare non-alcoholic and other beverages, including garnishes.
- Take food orders and enter them into the computer system.
- Utilize knowledge of menu, specials, drinks, and restaurant details to assist guests and promote sales.
- Maintain stock of glassware, china, and flatware, reporting shortages.
- Keep the server station clean and properly set tables.
- Assist with answering phones and taking messages when possible.
- Record currency transactions accurately and process payments, including charge transactions.
- Generate and submit daily server reports to management.
