Southern WA Services Director
Catholic Community Services (CCS) is seeking a dynamic values-driven leader to promote new service delivery efforts in Southern WA. You will be responsible for the development, implementation, and oversight of CCS programs serving people experiencing homelessness in Clark, Cowlitz, Skamania, and Wahkiakum counties. Our ideal candidate will have a passion for searching new service delivery initiatives and diligently working to procure funding to bring these initiatives to fruition.
The Southern Services Director will be responsible for the management, successful operations, and growth of the 63-unit Non-Congregate Homeless Shelter with the goal of ensuring successful exits to permanent housing. The Director will manage staff and client safety, contract compliance, budgets, grant writing, fund development, continuous program development, and public relations.
Minimum Qualifications: 6 years progressive supervisory experience in human services, or 4 years progressive management experience in a related field (BA Degree in Social Services, Business, or related field may substitute). Experience with and knowledge of people experiencing poverty Excellent communication and facilitation skills, both written and oral, including public speaking and making presentations. Financial management experience Demonstrated ability to establish community relationships. Demonstrates the necessary attitudes, knowledge, and skills to deliver culturally competent services and work effectively in multi-cultural situations. Commitment to developing and safekeeping a workplace which values and supports a culturally diverse work environment. A knowledge of and commitment to working within the Social Teachings of the Catholic Church.
