**Job Description**:

United Trades of America is seeking experienced Sheet Metal Mechanics for a client in Decatur, Alabama. This is a local position, and only candidates within commuting distance will be considered.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Fabricate, assemble, install, and repair sheet metal products and equipment such as ductwork, control boxes, drainpipes, and furnace casings in both industrial and commercial environments.

- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine material requirements and project timelines.

- Use various tools such as plasma cutters, press brakes, grinders, and hand tools to shape and assemble sheet metal products.

- Ensure the highest level of safety and workmanship on all job sites.

- Collaborate with other trades and project managers to complete projects on schedule.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 5 years of experience working with sheet metal in industrial and commercial environments.

- Proficient in reading blueprints and technical drawings.

- Experience with operating sheet metal fabrication equipment, including press brakes and plasma tables.

- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Must be punctual, reliable, and maintain a professional appearance.
