Shipping Coordinator

Use various computer programs to manage work flow within the warehouse.

 Prepare all paperwork for outbound shipments including BOL’s, packing lists, and labels.

 Process all paperwork and information for inbound deliveries including entering all

specifications for product received, labels.

 Print and distribute documents necessary for work flow within the warehouse.

 Work with freight carriers to schedule dock appointments and left over shipments.

 Enter all service fees associated with warehouse processing shipment.

 Work with customer service to answer questions and solve problems.

 Communicate with inter company personnel such as warehouse management, customer

service, transportation, Home Office and remote warehouses.

 Cross Train with all functions within the warehouse office to ensure coverage.

 Record keeping including shipments and inventory records.

 Additional responsibilities, duties, & cross-training as assigned.

 Proficient PC skills, especially Word, Excel and Outlook

 12 months clerical experience

 Basic knowledge of warehouse departments, schedules, and functions a plus

 Good math skills

 10 key calculator/data entry skills

 Excellent oral and written communication skills

 Available to work flexible or unusual hours as needed

 Handling details & Accuracy

 Reliability

 Time management/organizational skills

 Ability to maintain focus amid frequent interruptions
