Dordt University is currently seeking a full-time faculty member to teach and advise within growing graduate and undergraduate Social Work programs, produce and conduct scholarly work in area of interest, and contribute to a vibrant community within the department.
Candidates will have the opportunity to teach courses aligned to the candidate's gifts and focus. All areas of specialization will be considered. Faculty also will advise social work majors and serve on institutional committees while pursuing excellence in instructional responsibilities, intellectual contributions, and professional service. While a Master's degree is required, preference will be given to candidates with an earned doctoral degree in Social Work, or related field.
The successful candidate will collaborate alongside a visionary faculty and teach using curricular and pedagogical best practices. In addition to teaching, this position will also include participation as a full team member in department and university administrative tasks (such as curriculum development and review, assessment, development of new initiatives, student recruiting and advising, and committee assignments).
