What Youll Bring to the Role:
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in an acute hospital setting or relevant specialty
- Valid Georgia Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license
- Current American Heart Association BLS certification
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly
- Ability to assess complex social and emotional needs and develop effective care plans
- Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams and handle challenging situations professionally
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with crisis intervention and trauma-informed care
- Knowledge of community resources and referral networks
- Bilingual abilities or additional language skills
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Social Work (BSW or MSW) from an accredited program
- At least 2 years of recent hospital-based social work experience in a specialty area
Other Requirements:
- Ability to work weekdays from 12:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. for a 13-week assignment
- Willingness to work within the defined schedule and adhere to hospital policies
- Must meet all state and federal licensing requirements for Georgia
