Seeks a motivated Software Engineer to support the Navy Continuous Training Environment (NCTE) Program onsite in Norfolk, VA.
Responsibilities include developing, testing, debugging, and maintaining software systems supporting NCTE, integrating tactical systems with simulation interfaces, and ensuring compliance with standards.
Must identify requirements, solve technical problems, research innovative solutions, and collaborate across disciplines.
Qualifications include 5+ years of software engineering experience, proficiency in C/C++ and Java, knowledge of SDLC, network/systems design, virtualization, cloud tech, and Agile methodologies.
Preferred: Bachelor’s degree, 7+ years in DoD environment, experience with M&S and C4I systems, and active Top Secret/SCI clearance.
Physical requirements involve remaining stationary and operating office equipment.
