Position:Solution Team Engineer

Future Need

Position Description:

Gray Analytics is seeking candidates interested in future Solution Team Engineer positions in support of PEO Missiles and Space!

The candidate in this role will work with contractors, government civilians and system operators to develop system level concepts that provide solutions to problems that often involve multiple systems from multiple product offices. These concepts define external interfaces, outline system behavior, performance, and acceptance criteria necessary to support HW and SW engineering teams. Tasks may also include leading reviews and adjudicating comments made against the concepts. Concept development will utilize a model-based system engineering (MBSE) approach in an Agile workflow and environment.

Basic Qualifications:

• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or a related field is required for this position.
• Minimum of 3-10+ years of related experience.
• Demonstrated experience taking initiative and being a team player in a small team environment.
• Must be comfortable working as a team player in an Agile environment and be willing to engage various levels of stakeholders to ensure proposed solutions can meet the needs of intended users.
• Must be highly organized with a strong technical background in system engineering principles.

Other Qualifications:

• Systems engineering experience in support of DoD programs is highly desired, specifically in an Army Air and Missile Defense program.
• Hands on experience creating models in Cameo or MagicDraw using SysML and UAF.
• Experience using Atlassian tools such as Jira, Confluence, and SAFe© Agile is preferred.
