As a Sous Chef, you will assist the Executive Chef in managing culinary operations, supervising staff, and ensuring high-quality food and service.
- Assist with hiring, coaching, and performance management of culinary team
- Supervise culinary staff regarding quality, portion control, costs, and scheduling
- Participate in menu planning, food ordering, and meal preparation
- Manage culinary department in the absence of the Executive Chef
- Ensure resident satisfaction through excellent plate presentation and taste
- Engage with residents for feedback and uphold the community’s mission and values
