Special Education Teacher

Our client is looking for a Special Education Teacher in the Nashville, TN area! 

Location & Schedule

• Location: Nashville, TN 37207

• Start Date: August 28

• End Date: December 15 (with potential extension into second semester)

• Hours: 32–35 hours per week

‍ Role Overview

Special Education Teachers will:

• Manage a caseload of students with special needs

• Provide direct support to help students grow intellectually, emotionally, physically, and socially

• Guide Lead Teachers to ensure compliance with IEPs and student support plans

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with Special Education and ELL regulations

• Develop entry/exit processes for student services

• Design and implement RTI processes for behavior and academics

✅ Qualifications

• Tennessee teaching license with Endorsement 145 or 461

• K–12 Special Education Endorsement or enrollment in a job-embedded prep program

• Bachelor’s degree (conferred)

• Must pass a Criminal Background Check
