Job Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our dynamic team. The SLPA will work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide therapy services tailored to meet each client’s unique needs. This role involves working directly with clients in a home health setting, helping them achieve their communication goals.

The SLPA will work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide therapy services tailored to meet each client’s unique needs. This role involves working directly with clients in a home health setting, helping them achieve their communication goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement speech and language therapy plans as designed by the supervising SLP.
- Conduct therapy sessions in clients' homes, focusing on improving communication, language, and/or swallowing skills.
- Monitor and document client progress, reporting updates to the supervising SLP.
- Prepare materials and activities to enhance therapy sessions.
- Collaborate with clients, families, and the interdisciplinary team to support therapy goals.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
- Adhere to all ethical guidelines and state regulations governing SLPA practice.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assisting or related field.
- Active SLPA license or certification in AZ
- Previous experience in a home health or similar setting preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within the assigned area.
- CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
