Job Details: 
Job Title: Home Health Speech Therapist
Schedule:
5 days per week, Shifts: 8am-4:30pm 
Location:  Thomasville, GA
Job Type: Local contract
Contract Length:  3+ months
Pay Range:  $41-$44/hr
*Pay offered is based on experience, expertise, credentialing, and education.  

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform detailed assessments and evaluations of patients with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and clinical findings
  • Provide direct therapy interventions to improve communication, swallowing ability, and cognitive function
  • Monitor, document, and evaluate patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary
  • Educate patients and caregivers on therapy techniques, safety strategies, and home exercise programs
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care
  • Travel daily to patient homes to provide in-home speech therapy services across assigned locations

Required Qualifications

  • Current Speech Therapy license in the state of Georgia (GA)
  • Current CPR certification
  • Valid driver’s license and active vehicle insurance
  • Reliable transportation for daily travel between patient homes and multiple locations

Travel Requirements

  • Daily travel required between patient homes
  • Work is fully home-health based (patient home visits required)
