Reporting to the Lead Supervisor and/or Manager on Duty for the Sportsbook, the Supervisor is responsible for the operations of the Sportsbook during assigned shift, including but not limited to ensuring compliance with gaming regulations, federal law and house rules, denying appropriate wagers from customers, supervising cashiers to ensure all company policies and procedures are followed as outlined in the standard operating procedures. Responsibly communicate with trading team to facilitate any wager or settlement inquiries.  Also facilitates all money needs and transactions to and from individual cashiers. Responsibilities may include transporting banks and change, accurately logging all transactions on vault logs, balancing and auditing cashiers, and reporting discrepancies to management. **This role is posted on behalf of our partner, Meadowlands Racing & Entertainment**

  • Assist with training, developing, measuring performance, disciplining, and/or scheduling department staff, as assigned.
  • Monitors all monies being wagered to ensure all gaming regulations and house rules are being abided by
  • Approves and refuses sports wagers as appropriate
  • Handle escalated guest disputes in the Sportsbook
  • Provide gaming information and abide by all gaming regulations/requirements
  • Provide outstanding customer service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow employees
  • Facilitate all money needs while adhering to Meadowlands Racing & Entertainment/FanDuel Sportsbook policies to ensure an efficient selling and sales reporting environment
  • Responsible for transporting change, pickups, and banks in a safe and timely manner, following only approved cash transport routes
  • Responsible for accurate reporting on all teller/vault paperwork to and from the vault at time of transaction
  • Monitor Self-Service terminals and teller windows, ensuring all bettors are of legal sports betting age and abiding by house rules
  • Adhere to money handling procedures and policies
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Report issues and discrepancies to management immediately
  • Perform other duties as assigned

  • Strong background and in-depth knowledge of the sports and gaming industry and betting process a must.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Previous high volume cash handling experience preferred
  • Must display the utmost integrity due to handling large sums of cash
  • Must have the ability to work independently with limited supervision
  • Interpersonal and communication skills via text, email, and in person a must; ability to act professionally and confidently interact with all constituents
  • Provides leadership and direction to direct reports
  • Demonstrates poise, tact, judgment and diplomacy in dealing with customer disputes
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays as needed
  • Smartphone, desktop computer, Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint experience and knowledge is preferred
  • Licensure: Must be able to pass required licensing as mandated by various state racing and gaming regulatory bodies. Failure to be licensed or retain licensure will result in termination of employment.
