As a Sr. Business Development Manager on the Amazon Business Services team, you will work across Sales, Operations, Product and Business teams to develop GTM approach, source, vet and secure customer opportunities. This high visibility role will require regular communication with senior leaders, collaboration with tech and non-tech teams, and influence on partner team's roadmaps to secure progress toward shared goals.

This role can be based in Seattle, Austin, Boston, or New York City.

Key job responsibilities

  1. Identify and size opportunities to unlock new Services and enable incremental spend
  2. Partner with cross functional teams to grow the Amazon Business Services business
  3. Work independently to deliver results in an ambiguous environment
  4. Compile, manage and report on project metrics weekly, and lead high profile meetings to align on project requirements and feature prioritization

About the team

You will be part of a team that is responsible for all aspects of the customer lifecycle for AB Services - working with new technologies that improve usability and increase performance and scalability. You will help redefine normal for this segment of the market, and bring structure to an ambiguous space. You will help translate business requirements to technical deliverables and deliver operationally stable solutions that provides an optimal customer experience.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of professional or military experience
  • Experience structuring and negotiating complex agreements and leading cross-functional groups to orchestrate and successfully complete deals
  • Experience with sales CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar software

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience influencing multiple stakeholders and leading cross functional teams across geographies and business units
  • Experience working with technical and product stakeholders to define requirements, prioritize features, and influence product roadmaps
  • Experience with business development, partnership management, or sourcing new business

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $129,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $213,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
