Seeking a Sr. Construction Inspector to oversee transportation and infrastructure projects in Ohio. This field-based role involves monitoring construction activities, verifying materials and workmanship, and ensuring compliance with design, safety, and regulatory standards. Responsibilities include inspecting earthwork, concrete, drainage, paving, and utilities; conducting materials testing; documenting activities; interpreting drawings; supporting project coordination; mentoring junior staff; and maintaining safety and documentation.
Ideal candidates have 5+ years of construction inspection experience, familiarity with ODOT or municipal projects, relevant certifications (e.g., ACI, NICET), strong knowledge of construction methods, and excellent communication skills.
