A Brief Overview
The Senior Construction Manager is an advanced individual contributor responsible for leading the planning, coordination, execution and financial control of multiple complex healthcare construction projects. This role provides expert owner's senior field representative, providing expert construction oversight while projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within approved budgets, and in compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements. This role specializes in advanced construction methods, complex site logistics, regulatory compliance, and resolution of unforeseen field conditions. The Senior Construction Manager drives operational excellence by enforcing standardized procedures, piloting new technologies and lean construction practices, improving cost, schedule and quality outcomes across construction projects. As a senior technical resource, this position provides guidance to Construction Managers, supports accurate forecasting and reporting, and ensures all cost-related actions are fully documented, auditable, and consistent with contract terms and departmental procedures. This role requires presence at multiple Stanford Health Care facilities and regular presence on active construction sites across the Bay Area to lead field execution, coordination, and compliance activities.

Base Pay Scale: Generally starting at $70.52 - $93.43 per hour
The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training. This pay scale is not a promise of a particular wage.
