A NJ-based engineering firm specializing in Bridge Inspection, Construction Management, and Highway/Traffic Engineering is establishing an Environmental Department and seeks a Sr. Scientist/Engineer to lead this initiative.
The ideal candidate will have experience with NJDEP land use permits, including freshwater wetlands, flood hazard areas, soil erosion, and sediment control.
This role offers flexibility with hybrid or fully remote work arrangements for the right candidate.
Key responsibilities include developing and managing environmental compliance programs, obtaining permits, and integrating environmental considerations into projects.
