Seeking an experienced mechanical estimator with 10+ years in industrial, HVAC, or plumbing systems, specializing in process piping projects.
Responsibilities include reviewing bid documents, performing detailed quantity takeoffs, managing subcontractor/vendor quotes, and developing accurate, competitive estimates within tight deadlines.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, participate in bid reviews, and evaluate proposals for scope and compliance.
Develop value engineering options, prepare detailed scope narratives, and support project handovers.
Must have strong knowledge of Design-Build and Plan & Spec methods, proficiency with estimating software, and excellent communication skills.
Preferred candidates have heavy industrial experience and advanced piping estimation expertise.
