Must be a United States Citizen and "Clearable" for security clearance.

Pay varies based on experience, education, active DOD clearance, certifications (e.g., Security+, CCNE), and experience with STIGs, HAIPE/TACLANE, COMSEC/CRYPTO, Tactical/military Data Link (CDL, ANW2), (MIL) SATCOM, etc.

Required:

  • Bachelor of Science in STEM with 8+ years of experience, or 6+ years with a Master’s degree, or 12+ years relevant network engineering experience without a degree.
  • Experience in network design, architecture, specifications, and equipment selection.
  • Understanding of IPv4, IPv6 design, subnetting, and protocols like BGP, OSPF, EIGRP.
  • Network device configuration and troubleshooting (preferably Cisco IOS/IOS-XE).
  • Knowledge of advanced features such as GRE, IPSEC, QoS, VLANs, multicast.
  • Familiarity with network management protocols like SNMP, SSH, syslog, RADIUS/TACACS.

Preferred but not required:

  • DoD 8570 security certifications (e.g., Sec+, CISSP).
  • CCNA/CCNP/CCIE or equivalent.
  • Experience with network management tools like Splunk, FMC, Cisco ISE.
  • Knowledge of Risk Management Framework, STIGs, Windows/Linux/VMWare troubleshooting.
  • Experience with HAIPE/TACLANE, COMSEC/CRYPTO equipment, military radio networks (CDL, ANW2), MIL SATCOM.
  • Familiarity with Cisco VoIP/VTC, CML/VIRL, MS Office tools.
  • Active DOD Secret Clearance preferred.
