We are seeking a Sr. Network Engineer for a 9+ month remote contract in Long Beach, CA, with periodic onsite visits. The ideal candidate will reside in Southern CA near Long Beach.
Responsibilities include leading critical network projects, configuring and troubleshooting Cisco switches, routers, and voice systems, and implementing UTM and next-generation firewall solutions for network security. The role involves collaborating with teams, developing policies, and mentoring junior staff.
Requirements include a Bachelor's degree, extensive experience with Cisco networking, managing large-scale projects, and hands-on expertise with UTM and firewall appliances. Certifications such as CCNP or higher are highly desirable. Strong troubleshooting, communication skills, and NAC experience are also preferred.
