Seeking a Senior/Principal Welding Process Engineer to develop welding and joining capabilities for aerospace, naval, and defense projects.
Responsibilities include
- identifying and addressing manufacturing capability gaps,
- driving rapid development and qualification of welding procedures,
- interpreting industry and customer welding standards,
- supporting design for weldability and special joining processes,
- and
- ensuring smooth transition of qualified processes into production.
Qualifications include - 10+ years of welding process experience,
- deep knowledge of welding metallurgy and inspection,
- experience with procedure qualification and compliance standards like AS9100 and NAVSEA,
- and
- a builder mindset with strong execution skills. Preferred skills include defense standards, certifications, and aerospace welding knowledge.
