Qualifications and responsibilities for this Sr. Project Manager/General Manager – Underground Wet Utilities position include:
- Minimum of 10+ years of heavy civil/underground utility project management experience, with 5+ years in a leadership role
- Oversight of underground water, sewer, and storm drain projects, ensuring completion within budget and scope
- Strong familiarity with local codes, MAG specs, and OSHA safety compliance (OSHA 30 preferred)
- Manage and mentor field and office teams, driving a positive and high-performance environment
- Experience working with subcontractors on commercial utility projects, not just general contractors
- P&L responsibility, estimating, budgeting, and client relationship management
- Strong communication and documentation skills, including contract negotiation and change order processing
- Occasional local site visits within the Phoenix metro area (under 10%)
Salary: $140,000 - $200,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
