Sr. Structural Engineer (P.E. Required)

Position Details:
Position Type: Full Time / Direct Placement
Job Location: Mobile, AL
Benefits: Health Insurance (Medical, Dental, Vision), PTO and Holiday Schedule
Compensation: $90,000 - $130,000 salary depending upon experience and qualifications.
Drug and background screenings required
Schedule: Typically, Monday - Thursday, 4- 10 hour days.

Qualifications:

• P.E. Required
• Structural Engineer with 7+ years of experience, preferably with at least some experience in the consulting engineering field
• Degree in civil or structural engineering
• Experience in project management
• Ability to efficiently manage company resources to complete projects on time and on budget
• Ability to manage/lead a design team (5-10 team members in multiple offices)
• Ability to liaise with clients and professionals of other disciplines
• Ability to mentor less experienced engineers and drafters
• Meticulous attention to detail with superb organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience & Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Must be physically capable of performing field duties (ex., stairs, walking, lift 50 pounds, hot/cold conditions, sitting for periods, standing for periods, ladders, etc.)
• Ability to interpret engineering codes and apply as required to support engineering projects
• Ability to prepare calculations, designs and drawings to meet customer and code requirements
• Provide technical advice on safe designs and construction
• Inspect properties to evaluate the conditions and foundations
• 3D modeling for design purposes and the ability to create drawings using AutoCAD and/or Revit
• Experience with structural engineering software such as RISA or Autodesk Robot
• Must be a self-starter and capable of working with limited guidance Must be a team player, we strive to create a team first approach and atmosphere
