This is a full-time Exempt (salary) Network Engineer position supporting the Mission Command Training Support Program.
They provide networking support for the MTC and exercises, including installation, troubleshooting, and configuration of communications systems.
The role involves maintaining TCP/IP networks, ensuring information assurance, and supporting simulation systems such as JLCCTC and LOTS.
Responsibilities include troubleshooting network issues, designing network configurations, managing system patches, and conducting system recovery and upgrades.
Qualifications require a minimum of five years’ experience in LVC-G, knowledge of Cisco switches, VLANs, VMware, Windows, and Linux OS, and understanding of security protocols and RMF. Must obtain and maintain security clearance and certifications like Security+.
Educational background is flexible, requiring at least a BA/BS degree. Additional requirements include ability to obtain security clearance and maintain IA training compliance.
