Structural Engineer

We're Actively Recruiting for a Direct Hire Opportunity as a Structural Engineer in Mobile, AL!

Position Details:
Position Type: Full Time / Direct Placement
Job Location: Mobile, AL

Compensation: $80,000 - $90,000 salary depending upon experience and qualifications.
Drug and background screenings required
Schedule: Typically, Monday - Thursday, 4- 10 hour days.

Qualifications

• Structural Engineer with 3+ years of experience, preferably with at least some experience in the consulting engineering field
• Degree in civil or structural engineering
• Experience in project management
• Ability to efficiently manage company resources to complete projects on time and on budget
• Ability to collaborate with a design team (5-10 team members)
• Ability to liaise with clients and professionals of other disciplines
• Meticulous attention to detail with superb organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience & Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Must be physically capable of performing field duties (ex., stairs, walking, lift 50 pounds, hot/cold conditions, sitting for periods, standing for periods, ladders, etc.)
• Ability to prepare calculations, designs and drawings
• Provide technical advice on safe designs and construction
• Inspect properties to evaluate the conditions and foundations
• 3D modeling for design purposes and the ability to create drawings using AutoCAD and/or Revit
• Experience with structural engineering software such as RISA, Autodesk Robot, and Enercalc
• Must be a self-starter and capable of working with limited guidance

• This position to be filled in our Mobile Office
• Administer contracts and manage projects
• Inspect properties to evaluate the conditions and foundations
• 3D modeling for design purposes and the ability to create drawings using AutoCAD and/or Revit
• Experience with structural engineering software such as RISA or Autodesk Robot
• Applicant must either have passed FE examination or pass FE within 6 months of starting
  • Expectation is that the applicant will obtain a PE license within one year of starting
    • Applicant will have the opportunity to work directly with a licensed engineer
