Student Interns- NBPS 21st CCLC Summer Program

We are committed to fostering an inclusive community that reflects our diverse student body and to hiring high-quality educators from varied backgrounds. We seek motivated New Bedford High School students to serve as 21st Century Community Learning Center (21st CCLC) Student Interns.

• Interns will gain hands-on experience in education, youth development, and leadership through Project-Based Learning (PBL) programs.
• They will support educators and work directly with students aged 6-14 in summer programs.
• This role is ideal for students interested in careers in education, counseling, social work, or youth services.

  Qualifications include having a work permit, reliable transportation, a positive attitude, and interest in PBL. Prior program participation is encouraged. Interns must complete training modules and be flexible team players.

  
  

  Terms of employment: $15/hour from July 1-30, 2026, working weekdays from 7:30am-2:30pm. Reports to the Grants Manager and Summer Intern Coordinator.
