Preferred for the successful candidate to work from our Tucson or Mesa Corporate office, remote may be considered. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Monitor, update and analyze student progress reports for attendance and academic progress daily. Assist Student Services Coordinators with advising and coaching.
  • Assist with building and managing online resources and student success tools.
  • Connect with students and correspond with professionalism and empathy while adhering to all FERPA requirements.
  • Assist and guide online students to the proper personnel to resolve issues and challenges.
  • Complete welcome calls and emails to new and re-enrolled students.
  • Assist students with navigation of resources within Portal, the Student Center, and the LMS.
  • Document all student communication appropriately.
  • Process Change of Status forms for all cancel-from-actives, conducts, leaves-of-absence (LOAs), withdrawals and terminations.
  • Track, monitor, and facilitate documents for re-enrollments.
  • Assist in planning and implementing student activities such as graduation participation, student appreciation days, and monthly student recognition events.
  • Assist with new student initiatives, workshops, and success programs.
  • Assist with student surveys and data collection.
  • Assist with building and maintaining a calendar of events for compliance-related topics and events to promote a strong online community.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associates degree required.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in a student services role; post-secondary experience preferred.
  • Proficient in Student Information Systems such as Banner and CampusNexus; LMS platforms such as Canvas and Blackboard.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and similar applications.
  • Interpersonal and word processing/computer skills, Math skills.
  • Excellence in effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt to work environment changes, and relate to diverse populations.
  • Ability to work with accuracy, diligence and timeliness.
  • Any equivalent combination of training, education or experience that meets the minimum qualifications.
