We are seeking a Substation Engineer to join our high-voltage projects in the utility, industrial, and renewable energy sectors.
Responsibilities include designing, reviewing, and documenting substation components, performing various calculations (grounding, conduit fill, arc-flash, lightning protection, etc.), and ensuring designs meet code and standards.
The role involves collaborating with project teams, customer representatives, and field personnel, managing project activities, and traveling to job sites for meetings and construction visits.
Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and knowledge of relevant software (AutoCAD, CDEGS, CYMCAP, etc.).
Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, effective communicators, and committed to safety, teamwork, and continuous learning. Overnight travel and a clean driving record are required.
