Responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of food items, including cutting, cleaning, and dressing meats, fish, and poultry.
Prepares vegetables, soups, salads, and desserts, and assists in backing up the food serving line.
Ensures cleanliness by cleaning utensils, equipment, and work areas, and maintains sanitary conditions.
Supervises proper storage of food, beverages, utensils, and equipment, and keeps records, inventories, and daily logs.
May be tasked with ordering, receiving, and storing supplies, as well as assisting in menu planning.
Provides supervision or training to Food Service Helpers and may utilize computer applications such as spreadsheets, word processing, calendars, email, and databases to perform duties.
