Job Details
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead a variety of commercial construction projects, including tenant improvements, ground-up builds, and retail developments in Los Angeles, Inland Empire, Irvine and Northern California. This role requires strong leadership skills, project management experience, and a commitment to delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily operations for commercial, retail, and ground-up construction projects, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and schedule standards.
Manage and coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and site logistics.
Implement quality control measures and maintain compliance with all regulatory standards.
Develop and manage project schedules using Procore, Microsoft Project, and other tools.
Enforce OSHA safety regulations and foster a safety-first culture.
Collaborate with clients, architects, and project managers to address challenges and ensure successful project delivery.
Qualifications & Experience:
6+ years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial, retail, and/or ground-up construction projects.
Proven track record of successfully managing high-end tenant improvements and large-scale developments.
Expertise in scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and site logistics.
Proficiency in Procore, Microsoft Project, and construction management tools.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
In-depth knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety compliance.
Preferred Experience:
✔ Experience managing ground-up retail, office, or mixed-use developments.
✔ Familiarity with LA construction markets and permitting processes.
