Supervisor Clinical Nutrition Services, Miami Cancer Institute, FT, 8A-4:30P-116338
The Miami Cancer Institute Clinical Nutrition Supervisor functions as an integral member of the clinical interdisciplinary team by directing and providing nutrition services and medical nutrition therapy integrated with cancer patients‘ medical goals. The incumbent will work closely with Cancer Patient Support Services, including Integrative Medicine, developing new programs and protocols, as well as implementation in the institute. This includes providing direction and guidance to the Clinical Nutrition team, ensuring compliance with medical nutrition therapy practice, staff competency, and policy and procedures. Assists in the development of strategic plans, establishing the highest caliber standards of care, and managing the clinical and non-clinical staff. Establishes policies and procedures to ensure compliance to regulatory agencies. Directs improvement initiatives and acts on these initiatives to optimize service, care, and safety.
CDR Certified Specialist in Oncology Nutrition Licensed Dietitian/Nutritionist (LDN) CDR Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist Additional Qualifications: Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition. Masters degree or higher preferred. Registered Dietitian with the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, Commission on Dietetic Registration. Florida State licensure (LD/N). Board Certified Specialist in Oncology Nutrition (CSO) required. Clinical nutrition experience in an oncology setting required. 5 years oncology experience preferred. Strong expertise and educational background in nutrition, diet therapy and nutrition support. Minimum Required Experience: 3 Years
