Direct Hire opportunity for growing food processing/ manufacturing company in Pike county as a Supply Chain Supervisor. This role is critical in ensuring efficient workflow, on-time customer deliveries, and optimized production operations. The role is key to coordinating between Operations, Procurement, Quality, and Maintenance teams to ensure products are produced on time, in full, and with minimal waste. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage daily and weekly production schedules to meet customer demands
- Sequence production to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime, changeovers, and allergen cleanings
- Coordinate with Maintenance, Production, and Fabrication teams to align scheduling, equipment availability, and workflow
- Lead weekly scheduling meetings and implement a locked two-week production schedule
- Monitor schedule adherence and production performance; identify and resolve variances
- Communicate priorities, risks, and updates to leadership and production teams
- Support order processing, reporting, and general coordination between Sales and Operations
- Analyze production data and validate standard process times to improve planning accuracy
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent relevant experience
- 3+ years of production scheduling/planning experience within food manufacturing or CPG environments
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Infor, NetSuite, or similar)
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, data analysis)
- APICS certification a plus
- Knowledge of capacity planning, production workflows, and material coordination
- Familiarity with GMP, HACCP, allergen control, and SQF standards
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and multitasking skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
