Surgical Technologist

Position Summary:The Surgical Technologistperforms a variety of orthopedic/pain casesin the surgery center and will cross-train in the main hospital surgery unit, as a member of the surgical team. This role scrubs on all types of cases performed,preparesfor cases by picking casesupplies,set-up and maintenance of sterile field, andhelps with room turnover. This role may also function as a surgeon’s second assistant. Shifts vary depending on case volume.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Education:

• Graduate of an accredited training program
• High school diploma or equivalent

Certifications:

• CPR required
• Certification (CST) preferred.

Experience:

• Experience as CST required
