Seeking a US Veteran, Guardsman, Reservist, or Military Spouse for a Survey Field Technician role supporting land and utility surveys. The technician will operate advanced surveying equipment, collect and analyze field data, and prepare maps and reports for construction projects.
Pay is $21/hour, with hours Monday-Thursday from 7am-5:30pm. Responsibilities include compiling data, operating instruments like theodolites and GPS, setting out stakes, performing calculations, conducting surveys of natural and man-made features, managing land-information systems, and manual labor such as clearing brush and handling equipment.
Requirements include a high school diploma (associate preferred), ability to work independently, good communication skills, knowledge of survey equipment, and willingness to travel. Experience with electrical utility surveys, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and knowledge of utilities are pluses. Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to work outdoors in all seasons.
