Seeking a full-time Survey Instrument Operator to assist in field data collection supporting design, boundary surveying, and construction activities.
Responsibilities include performing land surveying tasks such as construction staking, boundary location, ALTA surveys, and topography; operating GPS, total stations, scanners, and data collectors; organizing equipment; and maintaining safety and quality standards.
Physical requirements involve mobility on construction sites, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
Candidates should have experience operating surveying instruments, a valid driver’s license, and basic computer skills. Preferred qualifications include an associate’s degree in surveying or related fields, experience with land development projects, boundary monument recovery, and FAA UAS certification.
