Swim Lesson - Aquatics Lead

The Lead will perform professional dutiesduring and outside of group lesson times, which includes but not limited to on deck check in, scheduling, planning, and organizing all actions specific to Starfish Academy at The Alaska Club.

JOB RESPONSIBILTIES AND DUTIES

*-- Being available on deck during lesson hours for on deck check in, instructor assistance, reserving pool areas for lessons, on deck enrollment, and offering proper customer service

*-- Assist with scheduling all instructors each month to specific classes to ensure the best instructor needed for that level and directly supervises instructors

*-- Assists in hiring, training and scheduling qualified instructors

*-- Conducts training of staff in water safety, and specific Starfish Academy level requirements. *-- Ensures that all certifications of staff are maintained.

*-- Ensures high program standards are followed; provides regular in-service training to staff as needed.

*--Assists with surveying patrons and evaluates programs to determine public needs and how to increase program efficiency and effectiveness; receives patron complaints and suggestions and

responds appropriately.

*-- Performs related duties as required.
