Pay Range: %2463,875.00 - %24103,800.00 / Year

JobDescription
To provide educational and training expertise to nursing personnel within a defined specialty population(s) including bedside and classroom instruction under guidance of Advanced Nursing Coordinator or Nurse Manager. To provide support to the learner, community and ongoing initiatives. To collaborate with management to review and revise relevant standards as appropriate.

Bachelor's degree in Nursing and three (3) years of clinical experience required. Experience may NOT substitute for the education requirement. Currently licensed or eligible to be licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) by the Alabama Board of Nursing required. Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA) is required or should be obtained within 30 days of employment. Depending on the unit/department, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification and/or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) from the American Heart Association (AHA) may be required.
