Role Overview
Reporting to the Sr. Manager, TPO - Web & DTC, the Technical Project Manager, Shopify will lead the development, optimization, and ongoing maintenance of Shopify websites for our portfolio of beverage brands. This individual will play a pivotal role in launching new eCommerce experiences for our brands across global markets while working closely with a cross-functional team of developers and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
· Project Leadership: Lead end-to-end project management of new Shopify eCommerce website builds, from concept to launch, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with brand goals.
· Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with internal and external teams, including developers, UX/UI designers, marketers, product owners, and brand managers, to deliver high-quality Shopify websites.
· Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, delivering regular project updates, managing expectations, and ensuring alignment. Communicate complex technical information clearly to non-technical audiences through excellent written and verbal skills.
· Optimization & Maintenance: Drive continuous improvement of live Shopify websites by identifying opportunities for performance optimization, new feature integration, and enhanced user experiences.
· Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of the Shopify Plus platform and partner with developers to manage Shopify platform customizations, integrations (e.g., payment gateways, sales tax apps, customer engagement, ERP systems), and troubleshooting.
· Global Rollout: Manage eCommerce site launches across multiple international markets, ensuring compliance with regional legal, regulatory, and cultural requirements.
· Risk Management: Identify, track, and mitigate project risks to ensure successful delivery.
· Data-Driven Insights: Leverage analytics to measure site performance and recommend enhancements to meet business goals.
Qualifications
· Experience: 10+ years of project management experience in eCommerce and digital product development.
· Shopify Expertise: Proven track record of managing Shopify projects, including Shopify Plus. Experience with integrations and customizations.
· Technical Aptitude: Familiarity with web technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, APIs) and third-party integrations (e.g., marketing automation tools, analytics platforms).
· Project Management Skills: Strong organizational and time-management abilities with experience using tools like Jira, Trello, or Asana.
· Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate technical details into business language.
· Global Experience: Experience managing projects for global markets is highly preferred.
· Team Leadership: Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate cross-functional teams.
