Technical Project Manager - SLED 

This is a Remote Position

Key responsibilities: Technical Project Manager producing outcomes and working closing with the Project management lead on established and new opportunities for Kaizen’s State, Local and Education (SLED) technology practice. 

 

The individual in this role will serve Kaizen’s Public Sector clients as a trusted partner, ensuring the delivery of engagements, producing project plans, tracking progress, and managing client expectations.

What You'll Do

  • Build relationships with people and explain complex technical issues in a way that everyone can understand

 

  • Work independently while being a great team player leading colleagues and coordinating efforts to ensure outcomes.

 

 

 

What You Bring

  • Must be Certified PM

 

  • 5-10 years experience installing Public WiFi Mesh architecture under federal, state, local or tribal contract vehicles

 

  •  CompTia Network+ or equivalent certification

 

  • Knowledge and capability of executing competitive government solicitations

 

  • Able to partner with clients to understand their organizational needs and recommend solutions and participate in planning

 

  •  Strong verbal and written communication skills

 

  • Organized and methodical; strong prioritization and negotiation skills

 

  • Strong process orientation coupled with an ability to work with virtual teams
