The Naval Nuclear Laboratory (NNL) is seeking an experienced Technical Training Engineer to join our Enterprise Integration team. Enterprise Integration (EI) is a fast-paced and highly visible organization that ensures NNL is positioned for long-term growth and success by providing support services at the employee and leadership/corporate levels. Technical Training Services' products and services directly support employee technical development and corporate knowledge management.

The successful candidate will participate as a member of a cross-site team responsible for developing and implementing NNL technical training, including the Technical Training Curriculum (TTC) Program, that supports the engineering and science communities. Primary responsibilities are focused on animation/eLearning development and instructional design. Additional responsibilities include administering current technical training curriculum (HERITAGE, TTC-2, etc.), determining laboratory technical training needs, creating and implementing new course offerings to support future design and technology developments, and assessing the impact of the technical training. This position will require interfacing across multiple business areas.

Job Requirements

Associate:

• BS degree in engineering or Bachelor's degree in a science related field from an accredited college or university required.

Intermediate:

• BS degree in engineering or Bachelor's degree in a science related field from an accredited college or university and a minimum of two years of relevant experience; or
• MS degree in engineering or Master's degree in a science related field from an accredited college or university and a minimum of one year of relevant experience; or
• Currently or previously EOOW qualified in the Nuclear Operations Program; or
• SRE Qualification

Job Preferred Skills

• Graphic design experience with emphasis on Adobe Creative Cloud
• Experience with 3-D modeling/animation (e.g. MAYA, Blender, etc.)
• Experience with eLearning platforms (e.g. Articulate, Captivate, Presenter, etc.)
• Experience in developing and/or delivering computer-based training
• Effective teaming and interpersonal skills
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple priorities with strong attention to detail
