We are seeking a Technical Writer in Austin, TX for a hybrid role requiring 3 days onsite. The position offers a full-time salary of $125k per annum plus benefits, or $70/hr as a contractor (no layers accepted).
The ideal candidate has experience with product-based companies, API documentation, and technical knowledge of APIs, Java, and web applications.
Job responsibilities include:
- Creating clear, user-friendly documentation such as user guides, API docs, release notes, and technical specifications for a Digital Asset Management platform.
- Updating existing documentation to reflect platform changes.
- Collaborating with product management, engineering, and design teams to ensure documentation accuracy.
- Conducting reviews to maintain quality and consistency.
- Assisting users through troubleshooting guides, tutorials, and FAQs.
- Developing training materials like tutorials and videos.
- Establishing documentation standards, templates, and style guides.
