Join a dynamic team as a Technical Writer supporting data-focused products in Bellevue, WA or Menlo Park, CA on a 6-month onsite assignment.

Responsibilities include:

  • Creating online guides, reference documents, and tutorials for technical audiences such as SQL engineers and developers.
  • Collaborating with product managers, engineers, and UI designers to document features and updates.
  • Working with release and DevOps teams to deliver weekly product documentation.
  • Engaging support teams and customers through knowledge base articles, FAQs, and feedback responses.

Required skills and experience:

  • 10+ years in technical product documentation, including from scratch and specifications.
  • SQL and RDBMS expertise (Oracle, Teradata, Redshift, etc.) with sample code familiarity.
  • Experience with "Docs-as-Code" workflows using GIT, RST/Markdown.
  • Knowledge of developer documentation, programming languages, APIs, and data privacy/security.
  • Understanding of content lifecycle, research, and online content management.
  • Familiarity with AI tools in technical writing.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Big Data, machine learning, cloud platforms, containerization, and CI/CD.
