Description





TMHNA is seeking enthusiastic and innovative candidates to oversee our Global Telematics System and manage the feature roll out plans. This role will primarily focus on end-to-end systems validation, platform optimization and integration of new solutions and components. 



The Telematics Solution Engineer is responsible for effective design and delivery of solutions and projects for the Global Telematics System. This position serves as the interface between Product Development, IT and Engineering as well as external support and supplier teams. In addition, this position will work with internal system and technical engineers to ensure development meets the organizations goals. Working with all stakeholders to understand the needs is a key function of this position. The Telematics Solution Engineer will directly impact the overall telematics system development and integration through steering the overall designs and concepts to ensure product and delivery. The position will be part of a cross-functional team responsible for the communication between multiple system and technical teams. 



 





Essential Position Duties:

Platform and System Management 




*

Perform key lead thought leadership role in platform architecture, system design and solution implementation 
*

Responsible for enterprise integrations with other company platforms 
*

Establish and enforce system architecture standards 






*

System Documentation and architecture diagrams including data flows 
*

Complete comprehensive system analysis, hyperscalar performance and cost optimization profiling and development of target to results mappings 




*

Problem Solving 




*

Investigate and resolve system exceptions and anomalies including: 




*

Performance 






*

Quality 
*

Cost 
*

End User impacts   




*

Recommend remediation plans and objectives to address all identified root cause issues 
*

Facilitate rapid prototyping and design for new projects, solutions and proof of concept initiatives.

Communicate broad business initiatives and translate them into measurable objectives and concrete goals 
*

Validate all proposals and align appropriately with other business units for efficient and coordinated action 




*

Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner 
*

Additional duties as assigned 



 



Education & Experience: 



Required Education BS degree with  4 years of experience or MS degree / higher with 2 years of experience in Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent with experience with software systems development. 



 



Required Experience with Solution Design, API Management, Data Security, Performance Optimization, Cloud Automation  



 



Required Knowledge of Azure Cloud Orchestration, Azure DevOps, SQL Database, IaaS/PaaS/SaaS designs 



 



Extremely strong analytical and problem-solving skills 



 



Strong verbal, written and visual presentation skills 



 



Preferred Experience with .NET, MCVP, IoT, Network Security, Container based Designs
