Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Bilingual Therapist (Spanish/English) to provide trauma-informed and supportive counseling services to individuals and families affected by interpersonal violence. This role involves working with clients to promote healing, enhance safety, and develop strategies for long-term stability. The ideal candidate will have experience in abuse intervention services, crisis counseling, and community outreach, with a strong commitment to anti-oppressive and trauma-informed care.
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments and trauma screenings for clients.
Facilitate group intervention sessions using structured therapeutic models.
Provide crisis intervention, individual counseling, and advocacy services.
Manage data collection and reporting in accordance with program requirements.
Maintain timely documentation and reports in compliance with program guidelines.
Represent the program at interagency and community task force meetings.
Conduct outreach and educational presentations for community providers.
Offer training and consultation to internal teams and external stakeholders.
Collaborate with leadership, supervisors, and team members to ensure program success.
Attend all required supervision sessions, training, and staff meetings.
Adhere to all privacy laws and compliance regulations.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills:
Master’s degree in Social Work, Mental Health, or a related field (license pending or eligible).
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Flexibility to meet with clients in multiple locations and maintain an adaptable schedule.
Experience providing intervention services to underserved families affected by interpersonal violence.
Ability to work under pressure and engage with families in crisis.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and written skills.
Desired Skills:
Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English strongly preferred.
Prior experience working with individuals who have caused harm in relationships.
Familiarity with social service systems, child welfare, and legal processes.

Compensation:
Pay range: $64,350 - $65,000 / year
