This role serves as a foundation for progression into a Journeyman Tool and Die Maker position.
Employees will operate various machinery such as grinders, mills, lathes, saws, punches, drills, and presses to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair dies, die components, and tooling used in production.
Requires a high school diploma or GED, basic machine shop or CNC experience, and familiarity with toolroom equipment and modern punch press principles.
Strong communication, troubleshooting skills, and ability to read blueprints are essential.
Preferred candidates will have completed blueprint reading, applied math, and precision measuring courses.
